Once you place your deposit for your piece, you will need to book a fitting appointment. In this session, we will take measurements and discuss your piece. These measurements will then ensure that your new piece will fit flawlessly. Usually only one fitting is needed then we will work with you on setting a delivery option and delivery date.

Please refer to the base price of your garment in the product descriptions. This depends on the quality of the piece and the amount of labor required to flawlessly restore it. There are pieces that are already impeccable and there is no need of labor except for tailoring to your specifications, if needed. Please refer to each product description and images to read their base price.

Yes! Pricing for fitting and labor are the same, but a deposit and vintage base price will be excluded.

Absolutely. We kindly ask to make a browsing appointment with us so you can come an view the current collection in person. A fee of $45 is charged for this session. This covers any last minute cancellation, but it will be credited back to you when you come and shop.
When purchasing a piece from our website, each piece has a $150 deposit. Upon placing the deposit, we ask that you book a fitting appointment so that we can tailor your piece. The deposit reserves the piece for you, until the fitting appointment.
Due to the unique and tailored nature of our garments, we do not offer returns or exchanges, although if you are no longer interested in the piece you placed a deposit for, you can exchange it for a new piece at the fitting appointment.
Some vintage pieces may have flaws due to their age. We carefully restore these pieces as needed, and all details will be discussed at the tailoring session. This ensures that the final product you take home will be flawless.
Fitting appointments won't last more than an hour or so. However, the timeline for tailoring varies due to the complexity and uniqueness of your piece. We will give you an estimated delivery time upon completion of the fitting session. Generally, the turnaround from the time we fit you to delivery will be between 3 weeks to 2 months.
We ask that you place a cancellation 48-24 hours before your appointment. Your piece will still be on hold while you book a new appointment. Your piece on hold will automatically be released back to the shop after 3 weeks of placed deposit. Your deposit of $150 will stay in your account for a future exchange on another piece.
We ask that you place a cancellation 24 hours before your appointment. Due to the private nature of our studio and appointments, failure to cancel within 24 will result in forfeiting the deposit fee paid. The good news is that you can reschedule for any other available day before those 24 hrs and when you come shop, that fee you paid will be credited to your shopping bag.
We ask that you place a cancellation for a group 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to cancel, will result in forfeiting half of the fee paid.
You can reschedule for any other day before those 48 hrs as many times as you need. We will make sure you get your exclusive group shopping experience all set up.
We can give your piece completion priority. This places it ahead of all other projects. However, 50% of the total cost will be added as an additional fee.
We can deliver locally within 20 miles of our studio's location, in Portland, Oregon. However, exceptions can be made. Please contact us if you are from out of town and would love to have one of our pieces tailored, or if you have a special garment you want us to restore.
Most pieces are dry-clean only and some require handwashing. Each garment will have a label showing how to care for it and in our shop online, you can find the care listed with the product images.
Absolutely. Embellishments, embroidery, buttons, or even full garment reconstruction to something completely new are previous examples of what customers have requested.
Most forms of payment are accepted including credit card, Apple Cash, Venmo, Zelle, cash, check and others.
Vintage clothing is over 20 years old.
